I have the easiest, yummiest breakfast casserole recipe that I got from my brother-in-law. You just have to try it. I’m pretty sure his family eats this for…well…breakfast. But my family has this dish for supper. If you have not tried having a breakfast dish for dinner, please do!!! Especially if you have chitlins around…for whatever reason, it’s a real treat (and breakfast foods are totally cheap!).
As I’ve mentioned before, I often modify recipes that I find or that are shared with me. So feel free to modify this one to your liking.
You will need:
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup of half and half
- bag of frozen hashbrowns
- 4 table spoons of butter (I use Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter)
- 2 cups cubed ham (you can use bacon or sausage or a combination)
- 2 cups shredded cheese (I use mixed cheeses)
