One thing that I really LOVE is a good deal. I usually won’t purchase anything unless I’m getting a good deal. So I grocery shop using coupons…sometimes even going to multiple grocery stores for good deals. I buy my daughter’s clothes when they are on sale. And I absolutely love the dollar store. There’s a list a mile long for things that I go to the dollar store for….
Last weekend a made a trip to Dollar Tree for shelf liner (I was organizing our kitchen drawers and cabinets) and sponges (my bathrooms were begging me to buy sponges). I found a few more things that I thought to be “good deals” so I picked them up too.
I am using them as bookends on my new bookshelf (that I love even though it was not the most expensive, lavish piece of furniture…it serves the purpose). The bookshelf is also the home of my Dollar Tree birds :)

They turned out GREAT! I love the aged look! Amazing! And that blue works well. I don’t know where you can find turquoise. Thanks for linking up! I love them!
Valspar has a turquoise color I have used to add accents to my guest room. I don’t remember the name of the shade, but you could find it at Lowe’s obviously. I think I have seen another blogger (Joy’s Hope) use it in projects and she may have given the color name.
Thanks for linking up to the Mad Skills party!
