Things you must know…If you’re going to be my BFF

My pal Ashley over at LMM is doing a fun segment right now. I’m hoping you don’t get too bored with this post and click over to LMM to check it out!

*Amy from The Idea Room is doing something similar too! So fun!

*Nichelle from Vintiage Wanna Bee is having a fun bloggy sleepover…join in!

*Lauryn from love notes by lauryn started a new linky party called Flashback Fridays!

I was born and raised in Arizona. My dream is to move to Eugene, Oregon.

I went to the same elementary school K-8, the same high school freshman through senior year, and graduated with honors as a Sun Devil.  I don’t deal well with change.
I am a planner. I LOVE being organized. Disorganization gives me anxiety.
Family is #1. Bottom line.

I’m finding my faith again…and it feels great.

I secretly want to be on Broadway. Can’t sing to save my life though.

I leave the singing to my husband.

I’m a Disney buff.

The book is always better than the movie.

I am a dancer at heart…but haven’t danced in almost 6 years.

When I was little I took lessons in karate, piano, horseback riding, flute, and dance (tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, pointe). Dance was my favorite.

I would rather work with kids than adults…ANY DAY…hands down.
I LOVE onions and my husband hates them.
I HATE tomatoes and my husband loves them.
I LOVE having a clean house…I almost obsess over it. Probably not healthy.
Shoes and purses are a girls best friend… in my book any way.
I love crafting, baking, decorating, sewing, coloring, painting….
I find coloring in coloring books thereputical.

I used to write poetry when I was younger.

I would LOVE to be a SAHM. Someday. Maybe.

Being a MOM is my favorite “job.” And I have a lot of “jobs.”

I truly believe “The Notebook” is the story of my life.

My husband and I ARE soulmates. We started dating when I was just 13 years old, but met when I was in 6th grade.

I am a Twi-hard and proud of it.

I love sleeping in absolute blackness and silence, but am sometimes scared of the dark.
When I was younger, I LOVED horror movies. As an adult, I cannot stand them.
Daily must haves: Chi hair straightener, cell phone, water bottle, Wet Ones, to-do list, and my morning coffee.
I read every single comment on my blog (sometimes more than once) and they truly make my day
I blog stalk…don’t pretend like you don’t!
I am battling my nail-biting habit. I was doing really well for awhile…Im trying to get back up on the wagon.
I am really hard on myself.
I am a people-pleaser.
I don’t like confrontation, but I will stand up for what I believe in.

My friends are more like my family. My maid of honor has been my BFF since 3rd grade. I have another friend who I went to high school with, dormed with in college, finished the teaching program with, and now we teach at the same school, in the same grade, right across the hall from each other. I wouldn’t have it any other way : )

I was the only child until I was almost 10 years old. I love my little sister more than she will ever know.
I love watching people open the present I get/make them, rather than receiving gifts for myself.
When I was younger, I couldn’t WAIT to get married and be a mommy.
I could watch FRIENDS re-runs everyday, all day.

My family used to call me “The Bag Lady” when I was a little girl. I used to shove things in my purses and cry because the zipper wouldn’t work.

I hear background music in my head almost all of the time.

I LOVE being a teacher…and it’s not because of the pay.

I ♥ Diet Coke…but know I need to give it up.

My 7th grade teacher told me to be an author….does blogging count??
