Hello Mine for the Making Friends! :) I’m so excited that Kara invited me over to spend the day with you all! I’m Erin from Crafts & Sutch. A little bit about me…I love all things crafty and have been diagnosed with “I can make that” syndrome. …it’s a real thing, I promise! I am constantly inspired by the things I see, so I like to create a little bit of everything. :)
I’m in full swing spring mode! I love everything about spring…the lush green of all the plants and trees, the clear, blue skies, the cool wind, and the warm sun! My favorite days are the ones when there isn’t a cloud in the sky and sun is shining bright and those days served as my inspiration for the project we are creating today.
This project is very simple and affordable. You will need the SPRING letter printables (found below), various coordinating ribbons, beads, and embellishments, wire, and scissors.
Start by downloading the printables. Click on each one to open them in full resolution. Right click the image, select Save Image As, save the file, resize the file if necessary, and print. I recommend printing the images on card stock or backing them with a heavier weight paper.
Cut out each image with scissors.
Punch two holes on either side of the top of each letter and thread the letters onto ribbon.
Now add some embellishments: scraps of ribbon or fabric, wire “springs,” and beads. Place them sporadically along the banner. The more full, the better. I found it was easier to add the embellishments once I hung the banner.
Hang the banner and ENJOY! See? Super duper easy! :)
Here are a few close ups:
Thank you all so much for letting me spend some time with you today, and thank you to Kara for inviting me over! :) I sure do hope you will all stop by Crafts & Sutch sometime to say “Hi!” :)
