Hi friends! Are you enjoying summer? I sure am.
One of my favorite things to do during the summer is try new recipes or make meal time a little more fun for my 3 year old.
This past Memorial Day was the perfect opportunity to make Luci a patriotic themed lunch.
How cute and simple right? And let me tell you… this girl never ate lunch so fast in her life!
I found the blue star sandwich cutter at Dollar Tree and the small star cookie cutter is from a collection I picked up at a garage sale (you might have one in your Christmas cookie cutter collection).
After making Luci a peanut butter and strawberry preserve sandwich, simply pressed the sandwich cutter into it. I then used the star cookie cutter on some watermelon. Place lunch on a blue plate for presentation and…. viola!! Easy patriotic lunch!
I can’t wait to do this again for 4th of July!!
What do you do to make meal time fun?
