Hey there!
Yesterday I shared the tutorial
for the {Polka Dotty Heart Headband}
and I am excited to share the matching t-shirt tutorial with you today! It’s an easy way to embellish a plan t-shirt and no sewing machine is necessary!
{Supplies:}
t-shirt
Heat-n-Bond lite
fabric
scissors
heart template
pencil
embroidery floss and needle
iron
towel
{Steps:}
1. Follow the directions on the Heat-n-Bond lite package. It will tell you how to prepare your fabric on the heat-n-bond. (I ♥ this stuff!)
1. Follow the directions on the Heat-n-Bond lite package. It will tell you how to prepare your fabric on the heat-n-bond. (I ♥ this stuff!)
2. Once your fabric is secured to the heat-n-bond, trace your heart template and cut out. Place the heart on the t-shirt and iron on.
3. Using your embroidery floss and needle, hand stitch around the fabric heart, being sure to knot both ends of the embroidery thread.
4. Wear it with the matching headband!!

I had all of the supplies on hand for this project except the t-shirt (which I found on clearance at Target).
So the total cost for the {Polka Dotty Heart Headband and T-shirt}
was $1.50. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. And I used up some of the supplies in my stash! Double whammy! : )
Thanks for stopping by today, friends!

It turned out so adorable! The fabric totally puts a fun spin on it!
So cute! I love the color combo! :) The added stitching really pulls it together nicely. ♥ Pinning this to try later!
So, so cute!! I love those colors together. I totally would’ve thought you sewed it!

I love it!! I have a sewing machine but I dread dragging it out and half of the time it doesn’t want to work. Thanks for the idea!
