Thanks so much for joining Vanessa (of See Vanessa Craft) and me for another Tot School Tuesday!
Be sure to stop by her blog to get more awesome ideas for your kiddos.
Today I am sharing several fun and easy ways to get your tot or preschooler practicing and exercising those fine motor skills. Development of fine motor skills in our young ones is so very important to their education and development. You can read more about fine motor skills and the importance of helping your child(ren) strengthening those skills HERE.
I wanted to share a few of the activities my daughter (age 4) does during homeschool that she finds to be FUN activities, but at the same time she is strengthening those fine motor skills.
Beading with pipe cleaners
Using clothes pins to transfer
Craft punchers and colorful paper
Picking up and gluing small items (like pompoms)
Lacing (or “sewing” as my daughter calls it)
You can find more fun activities to get your tot or preschooler exercising those fine motor skills HERE. And I often share the homeschool activities we do on Instagram! Find me at kara_mineforthemaking and follow along for a “behind the scenes” peek at homeschooling, crafting, shop items, blogging, and most of our meals (LOL).
Okay! Now it’s your turn to share your Tot School ideas!
