I LOVE a good furniture revamp.
It’s been quite a while since I’ve shared one on the blog, so I was excited when Wayfair asked me to be a part of their DIY Blogger Challenge. Basically, I was to pick out a piece of furniture from their site and use the gift card they provided me to get all of my supplies.
I picked out this coffee table…and my creative wheels started turning…
The hubs and I “share” an office and it is slowly becoming MY craft room. I really wanted a place in my craft room where my daughter can come in to craft or work on homeschool. This coffee tabled seemed to be the answer, although it needed a little DIY.
The table was rather easy to put together and my hubs and I did it in a jiffy. I decided to paint the table top with pretty blue Martha Stewart Chalkboard paint. Not only did the color liven the table up, but it provided a fun work space for my daughter. I also used a few Martha Stewart stencils and craft paint to add more pretty touches to the table.
I also used a stencil and some paint on the canvas drawers that came with the table.
I love the colors together…
One of the corners of the table came a bit damaged (darn) but the pretty blue paint seems to mask it pretty well.
But the best part?
The endless hours of fun the chalkboard top will provide.
Can I just tell you how much I love chalk pens? I big puffy pink heart them. A lot.
So that’s my coffee table.
Simple and fun, right?
Thanks for stopping by today!

Wayfair provided me with the coffee table and a Visa gift card to purchase supplies with. All opinions are my own.
