Hello and welcome to Tot School Tuesday, soon to be Teach Me Tuesday!
It’s fall y’all! I LOVE this season and all that it offers. Cooler weather, homeschool lessons outside, leaves changing color, pumpkins, picnics, fall baking, boots, scarves, bike rides…I could go on and on. When the weather starts cooling down, we really take advantage of it. We go on lots of nature walks and bike rides this time of year, how about you? Well, I thought it would be fun to bring a learning activity with us on our first nature walk of the season. I think the kids are going to love this I Spy Autumn printable, what do you think?
I love the chalkboard look to this print. And let’s be honest, hunting for fall artifacts is just plain fun!
What do I do?
- Download and print the I Spy Autumn printable HERE.
- Clip it to a clipboard & grab a white crayon.
- Head out on a Nature Walk.
- When you “spy” an autumn artifact on your paper, circle it with your white crayon. Try to find them all on your walk!
*Optional Extension: Bring a bucket or basket along to collect the Autumn artifacts you find and add them to a nature journal back at home. But please leave the trees and birds in their homes. *wink*
I Spy is always a fun game to play…even on Nature Walks.
What are you and your family looking forward to most this Autumn? My 5 year old is excited for cool weather (aka: playing outside) and all things Halloween (which means you will probably see a kid-friendly Halloween craft soon). My husband is most excited for soccer season and the cooler weather. And well, like I said… I love ALL things fall.
Thanks for stopping by today! Please remember that all printables are FREE to you for personal use only. If you and your kiddos use the print, let me know! It makes my day to hear when people are using the things I create.
And don’t forget! Starting next week the official name change happens. Tot School Tuesday becomes Teach Me Tuesday.
