Well HELLO there!! I took a whole week off from blogging and sign making to spend time with family and to relax. I’m so excited to be back! I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas…we sure did (more to come on that later)!
I’m excited to have my favorite twin bloggers over today, Kelli and Kristi of Lolly Jane! They are sharing a crafty way to display a favorite scripture to help motivate good behavior. LOVE this! A little crafty motivation…
Hi MFTM readers!
We are twin sisters Kelli & Kristi of Lolly Jane, our eclectic Diy/Craft blog, and are also mommies to 6 kiddos under the age of 10. As a reminder for our little ones to be kind to each other (without having to constantly point to our Be Kind quatrefoil sign already hanging up! LOL) we have created a sweet faux Sharpie chalk art sign with a favorite verse from 1 Corinthians that they will hopefully read and memorize as they see it each day:
It reads, “Let all that you do be done in Love.” It is SO hard to do that for every single situation, every single day, and I hope that this little sign will help my little ones to pay attention to their deeds. Because our sign is a DIY, (and mommas got no time for that! Ha!) we’ve decided to offer it to MFTM readers first as a free printable. Simply print off as an 8×10 and frame to display for your own little ones.
A big thank you to Kara for allowing us to take part in this sweet series. We know how hard it is to be mommies but wouldn’t trade it for anything! (Even the embarrassing moments like recently getting pooped on, with a big stinky pile leaked from the diaper onto my freshly painted dining room chair JUST as the doorbell was ringing. True story from a few weeks ago that I am glad I can now laugh at! Gross!) Hope you all enjoy your holidays spoiling these precious ones who give us the MOMMY badge we proudly display through crows feet, baggy eyes and disheveled hair each day! ;)
