Hello and Happy Monday my friends! I am feeling extra motivated today, as I just came back from my favorite annual blogger conference. You may have seen me and my blogger friends on Instagram stories sharing our crafty fun as well as our mind blowing workshops and speakers. I look forward to SNAP every year (watch my video)! This year our opening night was a dessert themed party, so of course I had to make a shirt for the occasion. I really love how my DIY Eat Dessert First Shirt turned out, don’t you?
I used a beautiful gold heat transfer vinyl (HTV) from Expression Vinyl and my *Silhouette Cameo to design and cut the quote “Life is Short. Eat dessert first.”
If you want to make your own, you can find the FREE cut file here. Just upload it to your Silhouette design studio and remember to reverse the image before cutting it in HTV. (If you use the image for regular vinyl, you can leave the image as is.) After the image is cut on the HTV, weed it and place the HTV design on your shirt. Use and iron or heat press to adhere the HTV to the shirt. Remember to have a protective sheet or fabric in between the HTV and iron or heat press. Carefully peel back the plastic to reveal your design on your shirt! If the vinyl isn’t sticking, apply more heat and pressure.
I loved pairing my DIY Eat Dessert First Shirt with my new kimono and necklace from NoVae Clothing! They dressed up my outfit for the party and were so cute. The kimono is so comfortable and I love the floral fabric and bell sleeves so much. I received so many compliments and it’s easily my new favorite outfit.
I love all of the cute and affordable clothes and accessories NoVae Clothing has, so be sure to check out their site. And save 10% on your order with code novae10mineforthemaking at checkout until tonight at midnight!
I had so much fun with my friends at SNAP conference. I ate so much yummy food, made new friends, learned all the things, and laughed my face off. What more could a girl ask for? I sure am lucky to have found the community of amazing women who love to share their creativity and talents and knowledge and inspire me daily! Do you have anyone like that in your life? They are so special!
Let me know what you get from NoVae… because I have my eye on a few things myself!
