Framed Greeting Card Art

Hey there!
It’s September! I am decorating the house for fall today…hoping it will bring cooler weather and crisp, fresh air. When do you usually decorate for fall? I’m so anxious for it this year!
I’m stopping by for a bit today to share a fun and frugal decor tip with you that you are sure to love. If you’ve been reading MFTM for a while, you know I LOVE to be organized. But I also love to make my organizing look pretty. I know…so high maintenance, right? *winks*
We have a command station in our office/craft room that we use ALL OF THE TIME. It’s one of my many saving graces for our crazy schedules. Only problem is…it was a bit dark and dreary. I needed to pretty it up a bit, but didn’t have any money in my budget to do so. Lucky for me, Michael’s had some ADORABLE greeting cards for $1 each that I picked up a few weeks back. So I spray painted a couple of frames I already had on hand and popped those cuties right in there.
A little birdie told me… go on an adventure.
And here they are hung above the command center.
LOVE the pop of color. And I LOVE that I spent $2 on it.
Here’s another wall in the office/craft room that I added some color to. Notice that beautiful piece of hoopart?!
Can we say GORGEOUS?!
No, I did not make this beauty. I participated in a HoopArt Swap on Instagram that Miss Mandy from Mandipity organized and a very talented IG friend made this lovely piece for me. It’s one of my most favorite pieces of art in our house and it is absolutely the perfect HoopArt for me.
There you have it…
Frugal decor tip: Frame some pretty and unique greeting cards to brighten up a wall without breaking your bank.
See you next week, mis amigos!
