Personalized Tumblers + a Cricut Mini Giveaway

{Giveaway closed…winner announced at the bottom of the post}

Cricut provided me with the Cricut Mini and vinyl to craft with but all ideas and opinions are my own.

Hello there friends!

I am so excited to share the Personalized Tumblers I made for my daughter and her two little buddies who have summer birthdays! The Cricut Mini made it super easy for me to customize plain tumblers and make them so much more…well, personal!

Aren’t they fun?! I love how they turned out and they didn’t take  very long to make at all!

I purchased my cups from Dollar Tree and used Cricut vinyl and the Cricut Mini to design and cut my images. The instructions included with the Cricut Mini are very easy to follow and I was able to use the program and machine without any hesitations.

After designing and cutting the images for each cup, I pealed away the the excess vinyl and used transfer paper to apply the images to the cups. SUPER easy!

These cups make the perfect gifts for kiddos and adults!

Just stuff the cup with colored tissue paper, a drink singles, and tie a cute tag around the straw. Now it’s an adorable gift!

Prima Bead Jewelry

Hi friends!
As you might have gathered, I’m an accessories kind of girl. So when Prima Bead asked me to try out one of their jewelry kits, I couldn’t help but say YES.
Here is the kit that Prima Bead sent me…
You can find it HERE.
Not only do I love this kit, but do you see all of the jewelry you get for only $25!!
That’s 3 necklaces, 3 earring sets, and a bracelet.
I pulled out my kit a couple of nights ago when I was watching Netflix with the hubs and got to work.
All the pieces, the tool, and directions were included.
I put together a necklace and bracelet in no time. I’m excited to make more (can we say Christmas gift?)!
These jewelry kits would make GREAT gifts. You can either put the jewelry together yourself and give the finished pieces (maybe keeping one or two for yourself) OR you could just purchase the kit as the gift.
Prima Beads is the go to shop for all of your jewelry making needs!
Check out their other products on their site and “like” their Facebook page.
This post was sponsored by Prima Beads. I was provided the jewelry kit to review. All opinions are my own.

Girly Subway Art Halloween Tote

I hope you are having a great weekend so far, friends!
I’m stopping by today to share the Halloween tote I made for my daughter to trick-or-treat with this year. Since I bought her Halloween costume this year (*GASP*), I decided that the least I could do was fancy up her trick-or-treat tote!

My daughter is going to be Princess Aurora (aka: Sleeping Beauty) this year, so I wanted to make her tote girly and pretty.
First, I designed my subway art image using my Silhouette program and fun fonts I found on dafont.com. Then I used my Silhouette to cut out the image on freezer paper, creating a freezer paper stencil. I then ironed the stencil onto the tote (shiny side down) and applied pink craft paint (Martha Stewart’s Camellia Pink and Pink Flamingo). After the paint was dry, I pealed away the freezer paper and added embellishments (glitter paint and rhinestones). So far so good, but it needed something else…
So I added glittery pink ribbon to the handles and a giant pink fabric bow to the top of the tote. Viola!

So cute right?
I think Princess Aurora will look lovely carrying around her Girly Subway Art Halloween Tote!

Thanks for stopping by today!

And thanks to FashionArtProjects.com for the tote and to Plaid Crafts for the pretty paints!

Chevron Stamped Scarf {tutorial}

Hey there!
Y’all have a good day? We went to cooking class, gymnastics, cleaned the house, ran errands, worked on upcoming Halloween projects, and made a delicious dinner! I wanted to share a fun fall fashion project I whipped up during a little late night crafting sesh.
One of the fabulous MFTM sponsors (FashionArtProjects) sent me a box FULL of fun things to create with! Last night I decided to add a little somethin-somethin’ to the scarf they sent me!
I thought it would be fun to use my giant chevron stamp (Michael’s with a 50% off coupon = less than $4) and some fabric paint (regular craft paint mixed with fabric medium) to create a pretty pattern.
Tips for stamping on fabric:
-LOTS of paint on the rubber stamp.
-Lay cardboard under your fabric in case of bleeding paint.
-Press down firmly on the stamp when placed on the fabric.
-Carefully peal the stamp away from the fabric, using one hand to hold the fabric down.
-Place a cloth over the painted area (once dry) and press with a hot iron to seal the paint.
Thanks to FashionArtProjects for the scarf!
Check out their site for more fun fashion art supplies and project ideas or visit your local Walmart’s craft section.
FashionArtProjects provided me the scarf to craft with. All opinions are my own.

Neon Color Block Tote {tutorial}

Happy Labor Day!
How are you spending your day today? I’m getting more DIY projects done around the house and getting some cleaning done.
I’m stopping by today to share a fun and simple project that involves a couple of fun fashion trends…
neon, color block, and stripes.
SUPPLIES
Sponge brush
Painter’s tape
Newspaper
Felt Flower (tutorial HERE)
Hot glue gun and sticks (for the felt flower only)
TUTORIAL
For my tote, I had 3 different colors of fabric spray paint so I wanted to make 3 color block stripes.
Using your tape and newspaper, tape and mask off an stripe on your tote bag.
Following the directions on the Simply Spray Stencil Spray bottle, spray the tote in a sweeping motion back and forth across the tote.
Use the sponge brush to smooth out the paint and allow some dry time.
Peal off the tape and newspaper when the first stripe is dry.
Tape off the next area you want to spray with the 2nd color of paint. Smooth out the paint with a clean sponge brush, allow dry time, and peal off the tape and newspaper.
Repeat until you have used all 3 paint colors and have 3 neon, color block stripes on your tote.
Then I made my felt flower and attached it to the tote with hot glue.
I just LOVE the way this tote turned out! Super trendy, but I’m totally okay with that.
This would be a fun project to involve the kids in, too! Let them make their own designs and spray away. Just be sure to lay some newspaper down. *winks*
Thanks so much to FashionArtProjects.com for supplying me with the fabric spray paint and tote to craft with! Check out their blog, products, and site!
