Friends! Have you heard? Disney’s Sleeping Beauty DVD has been re-released! If you know my daughter then you know she LOVES Sleeping Beauty (Aurora is her personal fave!) and we check out the DVD from our local library *often.* To say that we are excited for the occasion is an understatement! So, in honor of such a glorious occasion, my princess is helping me out with this post by sharing Five Princess Tips and Tricks.

Sleeping Beauty8

We are very familiar with Disney princesses in this house (can’t wait to share our recent Disney trip with you!), and we often make references to their etiquette, bravery, and loyalty. After heading to Walmart and picking up our copy of the Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition DVD gift set and a few other princess supplies, we made our list of Five Princess Tips and Tricks (keeping princess etiquette in mind!) to share with other princesses out there.

1. Be a good hostess. Invite friends over for some fun!

Sleeping Beauty3

Since my little princess was not feeling well (you can hardly tell in the photos…she’s a natural), she decided to invite some of her doll friends…you may recognize them.  ;)

2. Set the table with cute dishes and napkins.

The princess table, plates, napkins, and cups can all be found at Walmart in the party and toy sections of the store. This is great for the busy mom who loves cute decor, but doesn’t have the time to craft something up!

3. Serve yummy snacks with cute picks, little cups, and tiny silverware.

This part is just plain fun! My little princess loves using cute picks and utensils, and I’m betting your kids will too! She picked the menu which was turkey rolls, olives, string cheese, a fruit smoothie, and chocolate pudding with pink sprinkles for dessert.

4. Drink fancy drinks with fun paper straws. Pinkies up!

Sleeping Beauty4

We made berry and spinach smoothies to put into the cute princess cups we got from Walmart. Put a cute paper straw in it, and stick that pinky out, princesses! Now you’re fancy.

5. Have a fun activity planned!

Sleeping Beauty7

Since we are celebrating the release of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty DVD, our activity was watching the movie! The gift set also came with a bonus DVD that we plan to check out today. You can design your own Disney fashion adventure! How cool does that sound?
