Hello makers! I am having so much fun crafting and decorating for Halloween this year! Over the weekend my daughter and her best friend had the cutest idea for Halloween shirts. So of course we had to make them. Check out our DIY Emoji Jack-o-Lantern Shirts!
They are emoji obsessed… are your kids too? I love the way they turned out and they were really easy to make. I designed the image using the Silhouette Design Studio and cut out the image on HTV (heat transfer vinyl) using my Silhouette Cameo. I used orange shirts and black heat transfer vinyl, but you can be as creative as you want!
After weeding the HTV, we placed the image on the shirt where we wanted it…
Put a piece of fabric over the top and ironed it on. You need high heat and lots of pressure when using an iron.
After the HTV adheres to the shirt, peel off the clear backing.
Now it’s ready to wear!
I love that the girls are matching… such cute besties!
They did a great job making their shirts and had so much fun doing it together! If you’d like to make a few Emoji Jack-o-Lantern Shirts, here’s the free cut file for the Silhouette. Let me know if you make them! The girls will be tickled.
Have you made any fun Halloween shirts for you or the kids?! We love making our own shirts for various occasions… holidays, birthdays, vacations… just give me a reason and I’ll whip one up!
Thanks for stopping by today… be on the look out for some fun costumes that I made! Can’t wait to share them with y’all!
